Our Passion in our business


Our Family Business, Bergonia's Pinipig Factory was started by our grandmother, Nanay Flora in 1952. Having such passion in improving our "Pinipig" to be the best in its class, we sought ways to improve our methods, from the quality of materials we gather from the farmers, up to the machinaries that we use. Now reaching 62 years in the business, me and my family is helping it to adopt to the fast changing market, making sure its legacy continues..

We have two (2) main products:

1. Fresh Pinipig, a very traditional ingredient, is used in making filipino delights like Pinipig suman, Ampaw, Pichi-pichi...

2. Roasted Pinipig, is our most in-demand ingredient especially during summer, this is mixed with the popular halo-halo which provides a crispy experience..

Raw rice grains gathered from the different provinces of the south are keenly selected to ensure excellent quality in our pinipig products.











Still, using the traditional sun-baking methods not only the tested quality it bring but also to continue the traditional methods started by the Bergonias












After the prolonged sun-baking and rinsing, cooking the raw rice grains into magnificent pinipig grains takes time using our equipment to deliver upmost perfection.
